Dropped Chevy Apache 31

Last month, I stopped by West Coast Classics and Customs and noticed a beat up old truck body sitting on the ground just outside their repair shop. As I got closer, I could see it was a late 1950s Chevy Apache 31. I asked the WCCC mechanic, Branden, what was happening with the truck. He said they planned on lowering it.

1949 Ford F1 Pickup

Sitting in the back corner of the front lot at West Coast Customs and Classics is this red Ford F1 pickup truck. I chose to use a low angle shot because the front grill on this truck is so impressive. Personally, I like the flat top look with the narrow nose hood. It's a looker.

Show Cars at WCCC Cars and Coffee

West Coast Classics and Customs had one of their Cars and Coffee events this past Saturday. Members of the NorCal Woodies car club showed up to visit with Brian Gomez. A few others arrived in their rides: a 1967 Corvette Stingray 427, a 1969 Camaro Rally Sport 350, a 1953 Henry J, and a 1960s Ford F100. Nearby sat a lowered 1959 Chevy Apache 31 currently being worked on at WCCC.

1948 Ford Cab-Over-Engine

If you like pickup trucks, flatbed trucks, and size matters for you, consider getting a cab-over-engine (coe) from the 1940s. A quick image search on the Internet shows the many modified versions of coe trucks. Originally created to maximize transport space for hauling heavy loads, they now get used to maximize visual appeal with their size and all the options available for customization.

America's Tire Does a Good Job

A couple days ago, the right rear Bridgestone tire on our Honda took a fatal hit from a flying nail. We took this as an opportunity to replace our six-year old tires with their 48,000 miles of wear on them with new tires.
